Grająca progresywnego rocka brytyjska grupa Porcupine Tree swój nowy, dziesiąty studyjny album wyda 14 września 2009. Krążek nosi tytuł „The Incident”.

Zespół Stevena Wilsona odbędzie po Ameryce i Europie trasę promującą nową płytę, odwiedzi również Polskę – 28 października wystąpi we Wrocławiu (Hala Orbita).

Porcupine Tree ma w Polsce sporą grupę fanów. Poprzedni album „Fear of a Blank Planet” wyszedł w 2007 – brytyjski zespół zagrał wtedy w naszym kraju trzy razy: w Warszawie, Krakowie i Poznaniu.

„The Incident” to dwupłytowy album. W nagraniu uczestniczyli Steven Wilson – śpiew, gitary, fortepian i instr. klawiszowie, Richard Barbieri – instr. klawiszowe i syntezatory, Colin Edwin – gitara basowa i Gavin Harrison – perkusja.
